Parpardelle Bolognese - Ground beef, pork and veal stuffed with pancetta in our tomato-basil sauce. We add a touch of cream and pecorino Romano cheese. Served over fresh parpardelle pasta

 Lemon Tuscan Chicken - Pan seared chicken medallions with sautéed artichoke hearts, sliced mushrooms, fire-roasted sun-dried tomatoes- all simmered in a lemon, thyme and white wine reduction sauce then tossed with penne pasta

Cranberry Rum Salmon - Pan seared salmon filet topped with cranberry rum sauce. Served over Roasted Corn and Parmesan Risotto with fresh grilled asparagu

Simplify Your Storage Environment with IBM FlashSystem Storage

You’re invited to join IBM FlashSystem Specialist Byron Grossnickle for an educational seminar on IBM’s Storage Portfolio which are market leaders in performance and attach to both IBM I and Open Systems Servers.

Byron will be covering the recent announcements in storage simplification and the IBM FlashSystem storage portfolio as well as talking about the entire IBM block storage portfolio and how IBM storage can simplify your storage environment and position your company for now and the future in terms of technology, integration and support.

 

Bio:

Byron Grossnickle has worked for IBM for 15 years, first as a Storage Sales Engineer and then as a Spectrum Virtualize/FlashSystem Specialist with IBM’s Washington Systems Center. Byron delivers pre-sales engineering support for FlashSystem/Spectrum Virtualize products as well as provides field education to clients, IBMers and Business Partners in North America. Byron regularly speaks at IBM Systems Technical Universities as well as other events.

Prior to IBM, Byron engineered storage/backup solutions for Sprint/Nextel from 1999 until 2005. From 1990 through 1998 Byron worked in Information Technology in health care.

President's Message:

Thank you to Tom Huntington and Sandra Daizal of Help Systems for visiting NEMUG in February for an informative presentation on Security, Backup & Recovery topics as well as the 2020 IBM i  Marketplace Survey Results.

In March, we will have Byron Grossnickle of IBM Corporation as our speaker.  Byron is a
Spectrum Virtualize Specialist at IBM’s Washington Systems Center. This meeting will be held on March 25thh. Due to the COVID-19 virus and Corporate travel policies set in place to ensure everyone's health and safety, this months speaker will deliver his presentation remotely via Web-Ex.
 

I encourage as many members as possible to come out and learn about this technology available for IBM Power Systems.
