Message from the President
Welcome back from the 18th
Annual New England User Group’s 18th Annual Conference. Hope many of you
had a chance to learn from the experience.
Speaking of learning, check
this out. Web Facing, HATS, servlets, JSPs, Java beans , JavaScript, oh
my. Pretty cool stuff to learn about. Actually create web applications
accessing data and 5250 programs. Excited yet? Jim Mason will be speaking
about all of this at our next NEMUG meeting on May 21, 2008 so be sure to
join us for a look at some really great tools.
Don't forget to check out
the NEMUG web site for all the latest information.
Anyone interested in serving
as an officer of NEMUG please see any of the current Officers. We will
present a slate of nominations at the May meeting and accept any additional
nominees at the June meeting. Also at the June meeting, we will be electing
the Officers for the succeeding year.

Everyone loves the raffle at the meetings! We would

show giveaways would be a great donation!
NEMUG Web Page
The NEMUG website is a great place to visit. You can
register for the meetings on-line, sign up for our e-mail list, and see
pictures from previous meetings! Also, please be aware that there is
another area organization with a similar name at www.nemug.org. They
are based in Massachusetts. Our meetings are still held in Seekonk, not
Wellesley!
